Why aren’t the CVV and expiration date printed on the metal card?

We’ve removed expiration dates and CVVs from the Metal card as a security measure to reduce the risk of fraud. For in-store purchases, these details aren’t required—you can simply tap or swipe. When making online purchases, you may need them, and you can easily view them in the Cypher app.
