Will I receive compensation or a buyback?

We understand this is one of the most difficult questions for our community, and we know many of you were hoping for a different outcome.

Throughout the acquisition process, we carefully explored different options for the future of the protocol, including whether a compensation or buyback program would be possible. Unfortunately, no such program could be established as part of the agreed transition. Our focus has been on ensuring the wind-down is carried out responsibly, transparently, and with as much advance notice as possible so that every community member understands what is happening and why.

Since launching CYPR, we’ve always tried to build long-term value for our community through good spend and referral rewards, one of the ecosystem’s largest airdrops, continuous product improvements, and responsive customer support. While we know this doesn’t replace financial compensation, we hope it reflects our commitment to building and supporting the community in good faith throughout Cypher’s journey.
