Do I need to migrate my wallet to another provider?

While you are not required to migrate your wallet, we recommend doing so if you plan to continue managing your assets with another wallet application after the shutdown. Migrating is simple: import your existing self-custody wallet into another compatible wallet using your recovery phrase or private keys.

Before the shutdown, we strongly recommend:

• Backing up your recovery phrase or private keys securely
• Verifying that you can access your wallet
• Never sharing your recovery phrase or private keys with anyone, including the Cypher team

As long as you have your recovery phrase or private keys, you’ll continue to have access to your assets, regardless of the wallet application you choose to use.
