What happens to assets held in my self-custody wallet?

Your crypto assets remain completely under your control. Cypher is a non-custodial wallet, which means we do not hold your cryptocurrency, private keys, or recovery phrase. Assets stored in your self-custody wallet will remain accessible using your private keys, even after the Cypher product has been shut down.
We strongly encourage you to verify that you have access to your wallet and securely back up your recovery phrase before the shutdown date.
